MAJA MUNIH
Born on 22nd February 1998, currently in her 4th year of Gimnazija Vič high school.

When she was twelve years old, she wrote a historical novel titled Solstice/Solsticij, and by the time she was thirteen, she wrote The Four Testaments/Štiri zaveze. Those were her first attempts at writing prose. At fifteen years of age, her self-published book of poetry, Awakening/Prebujenje, got an excellent review from a Slovenian poet Ciril Zlobec.

In December 2014, she applied for a tender by a publishing house Smar-team ZDNP – “Z domišljijo na potep” – with her novel titled Dreams hurt in a different way/Sanje bolijo drugače, of which it was said:
The novel’s contents illustrate a mature, experienced and perceptible half-reality, which sometimes seems a little faded and loses its believability in some places, but that brings it even closer to the reader, as it allows them to reflect on the wide range of topics the author addresses.
In June 2016, she published a collection of poems titled I see myself in reality/Ogledujem se v resnici.
